In April 2007 Lloyd’s Registry of Quality Assurance conducted a third-party audit of the management systems of Bridon Cordage. The purpose of this audit was to insure that all of our processes related to product integrity and service are being maintained in a manner, which will promote high quality and continuous improvement of these systems. We are pleased to report that Bridon passed this audit with excellent results with no Non-Conformities noted in any area.
It is this commitment to excellence that sets us apart from our competitors. All three of our North American facilities are registered under this standard. This means that all the products you receive from Bridon Cordage undergo many tests to ensure it is the highest quality and most consistent twine on the market today.
The coming year will bring new changes to our company with the pursuit of an ISO 14001 Registration. This involves the development of an Environmental Management System to assure our operations are being conducted with a focus on the environment. We want to ensure our operations are being conducted in a manner, which will be friendly to the environment we are operating in. We recognize that our customers make their living off the land. We want to make sure we are doing our part in protecting it.
